Action on behalf of life transforms. Because the relationship between self and the world is reciprocal, it is not a question of first getting enlightened or saved and then acting. As we work to heal the earth, the earth heals us.

Who We Are

We are a loosely organized group of Mainers from various backgrounds united by a common thread: We believe the current administration is fascist, greed driven and dishonest. We believe equally that we the people must save ourselves and each other and that participation is not optional because eventually this struggle will reach every one of us.

Who We Work With

Maine is Moxie is cultivating partnerships and will be adding a page with info and specifics throughout April and the rest of the year. While we will work with any organization with practices consistent with our progressive values, we aim to amplify Maine based, BIPOC organizations.

What We Do

The decentralized nature of resistance can be frustrating. Acts of resistance (rallies, marches, actions, mutual aid) rarely make the news so it can be hard to believe there is an active movement. It can be easy to feel alone facing these challenging obstacles and extreme era of upheaval. Neighbors, we are not! There are many people and organizations that are ready for this challenge and they are active now! Maine is Moxie aims to connect motivated Mainers with organizations doing work that speaks to them. Consider us traffic conductors.

How We Work

This will evolve as needed and specifics will expand throughout the month of April. This website will expand to include information designed to increase understanding, motivate action and navigate this rollercoaster. We aim to be responsive and adaptive with our collaborators.
